For people of all ages, research overwhelmingly reveals that activity impacts health and happiness. We can probably all understand, though, that some activities are easier to begin – and continue – when we have others participating with us. Life is better together! For these reasons, we create opportunities for residents to stay as active as they are able and willing.
Some residents choose to assist in the daily operations of the Village by wrapping silverware, helping with the dishwasher, watering plants, and even baking. This of course needs to be approved by their physician and included in the residents service plan.

Spiritual Activities
Not everyone grows up going to church, but many aging adults of today did. Others find themselves at a point in life where faith takes on new meaning. Our chapel is open 24/7 as a space where residents can meditate, pray, and find peace.
Community Village has affiliations with Christian volunteers, both Protestant and Catholic, who lead weekly Sunday services. Our Activities Director also leads daily devotions every weekday at 9:30 am. Residents and family members are welcome to attend any of these services.
