Precautions We Are Taking To Prevent COVID-19
For the health of Community Village residents and employees, we will maintain these practices until further notice.
- Quarantine. If a resident presents any symptoms such as a fever, the resident will be moved to a private room to allow for strict quarantine.
- Visitors. All visitors are required to wear masks and are tested upon arrival to our facility. Test results are available within 15 minutes.
- Employees. All employees and contractors are required to wear masks. Employees are tested weekly and tested if any symptoms develop.
A Remarkable COVID-19 Record
The entire world was turned upside-down the past two years – and that included Community Village. Volunteer services were suspended, family visits curtailed, masks and gloves mandated for staff. BUT… no resident of Community Village lost their life to COVID. A few residents were infected in 2021, but were treated with Monoclonal antibody therapy in their rooms without hospitalization. Many thanks to the A&D professional staff working with the dedicated Community Village staff to accomplish this success!
